Josie Casey started Sweet Josie Bakes in June 2018, like many people who start a small business she had no idea what she was doing. However she had a passion for baking and art and wanted to share and inspire others. Four years later with over 2 Million followers across three social media platforms, 1000’s of happy students taught and many brand deals she still has no idea what she’s doing but LOVES every moment of it.

Josie found a love for teaching during the 2020 pandemic. She wanted to share a little joy and happiness in the form of cakes, pastries and chocolates to keep people sane during an incredibly hard time. She developed a style of baking and teaching she refers to as “lazy baking”! She takes hard techniques and breaks them down into such easy steps that anyone can learn no matter your skill level.

Josie is a huge advocate for mental health as she suffers from mental health issues herself. She uses this to remind others that even if you don’t always believe in yourself you can still accomplish your dreams, or as she puts it “ If someone like me can start a business with all my issues and horrible self doubt, honestly anyone can!”
